Omega Seamaster Chronograph

145.029 / Cal.861 dates from 1970

This vintage Seamaster Chronograph features the legendary caliber 861 movement that Omega used in the Speedmaster that went to the moon, the dial layout is consequently the same as the Moonwatch that used it.

The watch is in good original condition with some marks around the case and case-back, the edges are still good & it could take a polish back to ‘as new’ condition if that’s how you prefer your vintage watches (we can advise on or organise this). The serial number movement dates the watch to 1970, it has been fully authenticated and tested and it’s currently running at COSC levels of accuracy. The watch came to us on a well used aftermarket leather strap so we have paired it with a brand new genuine Omega NATO strap in complimentary Blue/ Orange colour-way.

This is a lovely vintage watch, a classic Omega reference / caliber that is a modern 40mm case size and a very wearable and functional watch that collectors can wear as a daily or put away in the knowledge the value is only rising.
