This striking Breitling SuperOcean Steelfish comes as a full set with Bakelite presentation box, outer card box, hang tag, a full set of links and all documentation including warranty documentation dated May 2005. This particular ‘X Plus’ version was only produced for a short time and was identifiable by its square/ paddle type second hand. The watch is in very good condition with some minor signs of use under magnification and has been serviced prior to listing. It is sold with a 12 month warranty and a Watch Register certificate for your peace of mind.

Breitling has long been purveyor of chronographs to pilots, but in the 1950's, the popularity of dive watches like the Rolex Submariner and Blancpain Fifty Fathoms pushed Breitling to enter that race.

Housed in a 44mm stainless steel case with a helium escape valve, a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, and a unidirectional rotating timing bezel, it features a striking, luminous 'radial' blue dial with applied indices, a date window at 3 o’clock, a robust and proven automatic movement inside, and a stainless steel BREITLING Professional I bracelet with a signed flip-lock clasp.
