This striking 40mm IWC Pilot’s watch comes as part of a full set, it comes in it’s original box & with warranty card and manuals. It is fixed to an eye-catching 7.5in stainless steel bracelet with alternate brushed/ polished links and is secured using a folding clasp that has a micro adjustment button for ultimate comfort. It is in very good all round condition with only minor signs of use. The watch was serviced in 2021 and comes with documentation & proof of purchase from the previous keeper. The IWC Pilot series of watches, revered for decades by aviation, military as well as watch enthusiasts, were created to meet stringent military specifications. IWC's first dedicated pilot’s watch was released in 1936 and the Mark X, commissioned by the MOD, marked the official start of the series. In honor of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the famed French flying pioneer and author of "The Little Prince," the Mark XVIII has been crafted to celebrate his love of aviation and his renowned literary work. Encased in brushed stainless steel, the timepiece boasts a polished bezel and a dazzling sunburst blue dial. Large luminous Arabic numerals and dagger hands ensure optimal legibility while a date aperture at 3 o'clock adds practicality. Protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass and powered by IWC's calibre 30110 automatic movement, the watch is completed with a matching stainless steel bracelet and a folding clasp.
